How the PVD Process Works
Cleaning: The jewelry is thoroughly cleaned to remove surface oils, dust, or debris.
Vacuum Chamber: The pieces are placed inside a sealed, airtight vacuum chamber where all air is pumped out.
Vaporization: A solid coating material (18kt-24kt gold, in this case) is turned into a vapor or plasma.
Molecular Bonding: The vaporized atoms condense and fuse directly into the lattice structure of the base metal (commonly stainless steel or titanium), creating a metallurgical bond rather than just a loose surface layer.
